The automated version of the Landscape Generator, created with Lex Lemson. Fascinated by mechanisms and moving images, we aim to explore the relationship between mechanics and the frontiers of analog and digital possibilities. The crafted image is made exclusively from our own photographic archives. From these moving images, the piece generates new atmospheres and universes, engaging with both its audience and surroundings. We now seek to deepen its relationship with space, exploring it on a larger or smaller scale, and integrating it into new environments and contexts.
Exhibition at KetelHuis Restaurant - Dutch Design Week 2024 - Openning party.
We had the opportunity to showcase the Machine during Dutch Design Week. The eclectic environment allowed us to let the piece interact with its audience and its environment. Additionally, the installation was on display throughout the week at a restaurant, offering a unique experience in that setting.
